More like a mid-spicy observation:

There is an inverse correlation between financial success and emotional intelligence, undermining the benefits of those people. Related: People with the high EQ & impact are often unpopular when alive, and not financially successful (ex: MLK Jr).

agree, although not always! have you read "Give and Take" by Adam Grant? really good book that investigates how one can be a "giver" (aka very high EQ and empathy) without sacrificing career or financial progress and success.

For sure. There are big exceptions and I wouldn’t be surprised if the correlation is decreasing over time.
