This space launch with Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez is honestly one of the most infuriating displays of corporate white feminism I’ve seen Framing a billionaire-funded joyride as a tribute to “Mother Earth” and “taking up space” is beyond parody. The entire mission is bankrolled by a company largely responsible for the destruction of our environment and deepening wealth inequality. It’s not empowerment — it’s branding. Post-landing interviews are the icing on the cake: Perry tears up about being a “fierce female” role model, while Sanchez reflects on how “connected” we all are. Babes, it’s not space that divides us— it’s money. This is elitism disguised as feminism and is mind boggling-ly tone deaf Rant over https://www.nbcnews.com/science/space/live-blog/live-updates-blue-origin-readies-rocket-launch-female-crew-rcna200921
