Is it just me or are all search experiences on consumer apps just terrible?

Feel like the searches never actually show me what I want to find and instead just show me a bunch of random stuff I never asked for

i think TikTok has GOATed search function (cc @zinger just wrote a cast on this recently i think)

You should be able to search through any casts that you’ve seen, excited for the first client that implements this

Yeah lot of room for improvement, I should at least be able to search through any posts I've engaged with (or even seen)

I think Twitter (advanced search) and Reddit are both decent but would expect better in 2024 (I guess most users just consume the feed anyway, increasingly so)

Warpcast's "from:" and "in:" operators have been big improvements for me in the meantime
