nuts no one except @ace casted about YouTube's new Hype feature, which is kinda Warpcast's Boost feature if owned by users instead of Merkle all YouTube users get 3 boosts/week to boost vids from smaller creators (<500k subs, vids <1 week old) viewers become supporters, new creators get better reach and engagement

i went through this, interesting experiment, don't think it will work as it is why? - could be spammed (with cult followers like kpop) - one mention from a big account is worth a lot of hypes end note: loose opinion, loosely held
