after a few years full time crypto since transitioning from the family office space, i still feel culture shock re: most family offices earned their wealth through insane sacrifice to build a company VS most of (loud) crypto earned it by being early to click a button to me FC feels like the former, not the latter

Interesting insight. What if we can build fast family offices? Fast company meets cozy family firm Then again most things worth pursuing take time. I assess my all-in on FC in 2030.

very rare for something intentional and sustainable to be built fast, kinda an oxymoron?

gosh, even after pondering hard I can't come up with many examples: Olio is one example I personally know of bc I met the founder when she was in an accelerator. The trifecta of fast growth, intentional org building and sustainable business model. https://olioapp.com/

Time dimensions shrink: what took Steve jobs let’s say from 97-07 might only take 2-3 years on todays hyper rails - and at a faction of cost. Overall I agree with you: rare. Nature never hurries, yet everything seems to be in perfect order.
