i respect @balajis.eth, but rarely does he decouple the power/promise of crypto from the collapse/destruction of society as we know it. the dark imagery may appeal to anarchists, but what if we used imagery that appealed to alternative revolutionist personas (eg George Washington)? could we better inspire the masses?

also this still doesn't appeal to the masses 2 hours LONG and here are a few snippets: "quadratic execution attacks", "EIP-1559", "first there is sharding and then there is dank sharding", "network state"

a) besides the point given the original cast is about inspiring the masses b) sure, but then can we get crypto enthusiasts to stop whining about its negative reputation and its sloth-speed adoption? if you want to be upstream of the masses, then you should know and accept it will be lonely and hard at times.

The best way to convince the masses is building useful products that they love. Role for both theory / inspiring builders and building the products.
