I think there were sharks IRL in the colosseum. They def did water fights and filled it with water to make a mock ocean.

Everybody's mocking this for its historical accuracy but water battles did exist in the colosseum! They probably had crocodiles rather than sharks but it's not that far fetched. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naumachia
