thought experiment re @drakula with TikTok, users decide who wins (algo boosts based on video performance) and therefore which creators gets paid with Drakula, 8 people decide which creators get paid (unless i understand wrong) TikTok: more decentralized, maybe less pay Drakula: less decentralized, maybe more pay

not critiquing!! just observing! just asking content creators if they care more about $$ or decentralization to see if farcaster would surprise us. imo most creators care about $$ so this is the right approach creators only care about decentralization once they feel they’ve been censored and therefore get less $$

Sorry if I came across as disagreeable! Totally TikTok is CCP-funded, @drakula is crypto-funded (cc @balajis.eth) The onchain market is so much bigger that we should ensure our fund will never get “spread too thin” like what the TikTok Creator fund became
