genuine question: how did U2 become like the biggest band in the world (iTunes releases, Sphere residency, etc) when i (and a lot of people i ask) can’t really name more than two songs?

I think that’s accurate… kind of like a warning: “I’m about to say U2 has a good song, however I should not be held responsible for the validity of this claim.” 😆

At one time one of their albums got added to everyone’s iTunes library, came pre added with every iPhone, no idea if they were already that big by then but I’m sure that gave them a big boost
