VSCO, canva, pixlr, tezza, polarr, phlo, etc these are popular, yet not sophisticated apps that set the UX standard for basic “creator tools” for the largest demographic of creators: iPhone photographers wild that most of crypto seems to not approach “creator tools” with this established standard in mind*

is this basically the tool set people use for editing photos and vids to post on Insta/TikTok? cuz that is probably why it doesn’t for crypto because there are no social platforms with significant enough distro maybe if FC booms they will come 😁

Honestly, I think Instagram might be a better example here for iPhone photographers, and TikTok for iPhone videographers VSCO et al are *insanely* complicated compared to Insta/TikTok editing tools Also likely the reason why Insta/TikTok are billion dollar+ companies and the others are not

Good Point & thought-provoking. I used IG filter in the beginning, the Newsstand series was born using the earlybird filter, then I customized my own treatment/border for the onchain collection. I use the iphone photo editing tools the most as it keeps the file size integral. I also like snapseed, Dazz, Vsco, Dispo, mextures..and as a working photographer I make my own treatments in adobe but use whatever makes sense for the project. Photo editing tools with minting in mind would be interesting to explore and could be successful for zora I think something like rodeo would be more challenging as most of the photographers have a multi step post process. But even just one successful tool to add to the workflow could be worth exploring, like the iphone auto enhance button (magic wand) to give onchain posts a spruce. Or maybe an AI integrated layering tool. Would be cool if someone took polaroid, fuji, kodak, etc and put every film treatment on a digital archive..like vsco and og hipstamatic but the full gamut
