who is charging who in your original cast? 

we all might be getting tripped up by lack of clarity there.

I agree with @joneschuk and @ace fwiw, and think YouTube works well because the content creators make $$ from ad views (and aren’t charged $$).

because 1) distro costs money, and 2) distro is how you make money
