We purposely set fan tokens initially to be only bought or sold on farcaster. You must be a farcaster member to participate. That keeps it within the community. Some have asked us to open it up such that anyone can participate, in the theory that this will introduce more people to farcaster and the benefits of being a fan. We’re just listening to opinions at this point.

It’s hard enough to keep the bots out of this space at the moment and the farmers|scammers inviting others without more of a “vetting” process or having skin in the game really is opening up a full can of worms. Just my own personal hot take.
