maybe a dumb question but if you make $ driving for DoorDash*, can you use the $ you made to pay for your own DoorDash order? like can you earn and spend an in-app balance? or no? *also Uber, Instacart, TaskRabbit, etc.

not really, you have to cash out to a debit card to use the money or you can use an uber credit card (don’t know if that’s still a thing) gig workers do order doordash tho, in fact when I did it at least 50% of orders were from service workers or people doing some kind of physical labor

they should give you points/balance to use in-app based on how much you worked that month or something as a perk

Unless they have added that to the app somewhat recently then no. I haven’t Doordashed since 2023 but did so for about a year with over 500 completed orders. If you use their debit card with your d.d. account you can cash out at least once a day though and spend that in the app if you wanted.

i did doordash...like 3 years ago during the weekend..(not too long..haha) and i don't think so bc they two separate apps
