There was a fomo element - they only made a certain amount a day - they were hot and crispy and sticky - never doughy - almost croissant like - you would eat the roll from the outside to the in - tearing off pieces, until you got to the ooey, gooey, delicious center, all accompanied by a solid Italian blend!  Shit. Just writing that makes me want to go back - but the last time I was in Playa they didn’t have them.  I imagine Gjusta as this locked down (along with their amazing granola!)
