since returning to LA Iβve observed a new phenomenon that may be as mindless as texting and driving: dogs being walked by humans being walked by their phones

I usually do two ~45 m walks a day. about 10m of each walk is where I'm using the phone to do ritual things and almost always while dogs are doing their own business, so I'm standing anyway. Pet aavagotchi, check on DAO bids, mint NOMO noun, etc. The rest of the time I'm either listening to podcasts or audiobooks, so no screentime.
