a common theme across the 50+ interviews we've done in the last 10 days is that it is HARD for new users to get started, know where to cast, find their footing and like-minded people. starter packs, /gmfarcaster, FC newsletters, and finding a "onboarding buddy" help — what else? what needs to be better? how?

I feel that there’s a big cultural gap between mainstream social networks and farcaster. New concepts, new worlds, new tools and topics, new UX and features, more text, less pictures/video/sound. Imho priority is a nice onboarding to showcase the values and foundations and then bridge that cultural gap with a tour.

can you share a little bit more about your thinking here? what would that tour look like?

Sure imho top priority is to guide new users into following relevant casters and channels according to interests (personalization) and maybe also some central base/farcaster stars and an educating channel for rookies (community alignment). May be some of that is already done, I forgot how’s the ob. And of course it depends on the strategy but I fell that base ecosystem is on a mission to onboard normies or is it too soon ?
