how would you define client diversity? because warpcast, jam, and discove all feel like different flavors of the same app — with marginal advantages in functionality between them. kinda feels like the myspace v facebook v friendster era. fwiw, how did facebook set itself apart? controlled growth.

Don't think WC, Jam or Discove are similar - they have different philosophies around how to build their products. It's just that FC has only 12K users atm, so feels like there's a lot of overlap (the same content everywhere) This will significantly change after FC has 10x'ed

okay, so what’re the different philosophies? counter question for you and @billzh: is the overlap because it’s the same content on apps, or is it because the same type of apps highlight one form of content? counter example: @event’s content isn’t text, but event organization and participation.

Well, I've not done my research to state the claims but it maybe the users are discussing trens which is similar everywhere or we have similar set of users. Also, there's the yup coming up which enables cross posting (we'll find more similar content everywhere)
