Sweet Lady Jane closed without notice and now Milk Jar Cookies — arguably the best in LA according to my taste — is closing January 15. Both alluded to CA- and LA-specific small business challenges in their closure announcements. Really sad. Get some cookies before they’re gone! https://milkjarcookies.com/

There was no better cake than SLJ's triple berry cake. Period. I will die on this hill. Such a huge bummer. Ugh.

Haven't tried either yet, but Susie Cakes is still around (new for the area?). I think their cookies are excellent.
