basketball sneakers are the male equivalent of platform shoes (or wedges) for women. they add 2 inches of height when you wear them, they are comfortable, and to some people they look great and to others they look cringe.

Whoa there, what basketball shoes add 2” of height because I haven’t seen any.  I would have went with hokas or any other 4cm foam stack running shoe, those are heaven to wear outside of workouts.  Make that foam zoomx and I’m buying (zegamas are my daily)
