also check out rodeo by former Hinge COO the most interesting part about this is that this is how GOAT (yes the sneaker company) originally started as a friend meetup app, but a) the mobile tech was nowhere near as good as it is now, b) the “loneliness” problem wasn’t as pronounced, and c) margins were so bad
