Don’t know that this is true. At a glance, someone who’s not paying close attention could probably see it and think it’s a real photo. It’s lazy, tacky journalism. Artificial journalistic shorthand.

But I wouldn’t call it disinformation. Marc and Ben do both support Trump after all, no? It’s not like their politics are being misrepresented.

Just because they haven’t been photographed in the hat   is kind of irrelevant. It’s not the hat that people disagree with.
