what do you think the state of crypto is in LA? to me, it feels fragmented compared to the crypto communities in other cities (NYC, SF, etc.) is it the city infrastructure? no, hard tech scene is thriving. is it the projects? maybe, i only know a few that are HQ'd here. is it the culture? LA does tend to be flaky.

other cities have this, but it is rare sf, ny la has it for entertainment industry. places where deals happen & where people go to be seen. ny has places in midtown for this, but for finance. tech isn't high status in la relative to hollywood

that makes sense, particularly true for finance imo. you think tech needs to become high status in LA in order for a specific neighborhood to become an actual "hub"?
