reminder that as a builder it is SO important to ship the "barely enough" even if it makes you cringe at yourself and feel embarrassed about putting it out in public because it isn't your highest quality work. as @nonlinear.eth says, "if its too polished, they waited too long to ship". (still cringing though)

I worked at a music collaboration app a couple years ago where the (non technical) founders were obsessed that the play/pause button interactions are instant (Spotify and Apple aren’t even that perfect). Yeah, they are still struggling to get traction πŸ˜‚

I have my own disagreement with this. For a YC style gold rush, finding what works, build fast and ship, pivot and discard if all else fail. For anything else important i.e. Open AI, take your time.
