i said service, helping people

the reply was “oh come on, what is it really?”

lol disillusioned me

Before I got into tech, I didn’t know there were so many people whose only concern is money and status. I knew that was important to people and rightly so, I just didn’t know it could be the only thing

Finding meaning is more a state than an outcome

Tech is by nature focused on changing state and getting to an outcome 

Maybe the source of the problem?

Perhaps related to the closer exposure of AI too
