something discouraging to me re crypto is how many thought leaders (including fresher crypto VCs) recycle, not even remix, each other’s or web2 ideas theses that seem so intuitive and obvious are routinely lauded as top tier takes something wrong but net new is more interesting to read and better for the industry*

*because it leads to net new conversations and discussions, instead of the same tired takes that people default agree (confirmation bias) or disagree with
