Something subtle that I think is really important to growing an audience on FC is having a perspective that is unique and different to CT.

I've seen a lot of people try and get by just cross-posting to both - but each has its own unique vibe and I think it's important to approach it from that perspective.

I don't think this will always be the case - but I've made a really conscious effort to not just lazily post the same thing in two places but have takes that are intended towards different audiences.

we've run a bunch of experiments, and cross posting never really works. 

you have to post something unique and engage with your audience here for it to work. for better or for worse.

hmmm, i think it is actually alright to post the same content at the beginning especially if it's informative or insightful in nature. there's no other way to find your voice and learn what works and what doesn't.

agree the key is engaging with the audience authentically.

I think cross posting has a stigma of being lazy since it's typically set for all posts usually.

It might help make it feel less "markety" if some personalized posts get thrown into different networks without cross posting.
