can anyone give me the TLDR on these two music apps? and any others? also give @callmelatasha a follow — world builder constantly pushing new boundaries for musicians in the same.

nah these don't do it for me - discovery seems no different than trad apps, need to lean into something completely different. it's cool that songcamp has dom though since he is HQ. sound.xyz is fine but the problem with all this that nobody seems to ask questions about is: i'm not buying music to hope it increases in value, seems they just assume that, everything points to the opposite.. i buy music to get artist attention or provide direct support these apps are too much hopeful assumption imo but i think it will keep improving. the closest monetary interest is owning part of an EP/album that continues to gross revenue over years as more of a crowdfunding investor

@osc is by @jx, who we worked with earlier this year to sell vinyls through frames with @rac ! website is here: https://osc.wtf/ tldr; music data should be open so artists can unify their audience (aka community) more easily great guys :)

What are you trying to learn? Music protocols are a tough business because of the nature of dual copyright.
