A red pill to many of us (largely millennials) who were sold "make the world a better place" or "don't be evil", is that IT is just another incarnation of dominant industry

There is nothing inherently more noble about a Google or a Meta than a Standard Oil

The nobility is temporal, and must be found again in fledgling industry

Oh right i almost forgot -- infrastructure with no culture is 2000s/2010s Internet technology behemoth companies

Art in San Francisco / East Bay was suffocated as tech came to dominate in the teens. This is true of the way Hollywood came to engulf Los Angles in the 50s/60s. Balance in a city hard. The Internet is boundless, but still need balance. 

I know of no other place on the Internet where you have coexistence like Warpcast. There are techies building here, philosophers helping us see bird eye views and culture makers trying to thrive on this frontier. 

The biggest holdback of Warpcast is the balance. There still needs to be a better way for culture makers here to thrive along side builders. Talking about it is a good first step, cross-over is next
