Taipei is a surprisingly cash-heavy city!

I mean, it requires avoiding a few places, ie some night market stalls or some hipster coffee shops (I've happened to visit 2 this week that were cash only), or some cash-machine ramen places.

Definitely handy! Sometimes it is just faster too :)

I feel like most restaurants I go to are cash only and not super clear signage until you go to pay, so always handy to have cash!
