Have any folks here had the nft convo with their anti-crypto art friends? 

Having done art professionally + managed artists who harbor strong negative feelings, I feel like there’s still a huge understanding gap where the main virtues aren’t being framed in a way that fully relates to their needs and experiences

I’ve spoken with artists about NFTs and none of them were anti-nft. Most of them  acknowledged the potential and the upside for them but they didn’t care enough to experiment with NFTs. It’s not clear to me why.

Hm I think the technical and cultural hurdle is a big one for a lot of ppl. Esp around community — being an NFT artist comes with a paradigm shift around cultivating personal relationships with collectors, prospective buyers, peers etc. It’s more work but also more rewarding in many cases
