I’ve been working on a Nextjs boilerplate that offers traditional authentication with embedded crypto wallets—something like a free, self-hosted Privy alternative. It is preconfigured with Base Sepolia and offers a fiat on/off ramp with improved UX. Can you please connect me with builders and people inside Base so they can test it and give feedback? 🚨 Looking for builders to test the preview of Auth by Watchen! It’s a Nextjs boilerplate that offers social logins with embedded wallets—something like a free, self-hosted Privy alternative. There are some interesting preconfigured features like fiat on-ramp and off-ramp (I think the off-ramp UX is significantly better than what is available today). If you are interested, DM me!

Apart from the last message about gas, which can get confusing, sending money to a wallet is easy and simple. I know firsthand that when people do not genuinely want to use something, even basic stuff they do regularly in other cases/platforms can annoy them.

Arguing that Solana’s UX is greater than L2s is just wrong. That would maybe be the case 6 months before. In addition, the frontends of Ethereum are far better than Solana’s because they always had to deal with far greater demand. After all, it is our duty as builders to provide a top-notch experience to our users.
