There aren’t many good English translations of the Lotus Sutra, Tripitaka and other canonical/holy Buddhist texts from its various manifestations.  

It’s a lot less centralized and organized than Hinduism, Christianity and Islam.

are you familiar with https://suttacentral.net/?lang=en ? this is *the* reference used by academics and monastics that shows you translations from different authors in a variety of languages.

I agree with you on the decentralization point, tho there are still very few translators compared to other religions.

We need to talk more about decentralization off chain.  I appreciate the example!
