My answer is 0.1. It's the largest denomination for which it's feasible to abolish decimal units from mainstream use. CNY, HKD, MXN are all kinda in this range, imo it works well!

I did 0.01. At the time I was traveling to Pakistan where most things are above 100 PKR, which is why I mentioned.
