For me, it's the temperature that holds me back from deep sleep. You might run hot similar to me and need a cool bed/cooled house to stay in deep sleep

some suggestions here: https://warpcast.com/shazow.eth/0x04ae6388 also don't super-trust sleep stage detection based on sensors that aren't using EEG; limb sensors are calibrated for the "average person" (motion+hr mainly) but there's huge variance in paralysis during sleep stages. non-EEG sleep sensors are more accurate for some people than others.
