Sup Casters, wife and I are looking to move soon. DC is our top choice for various reasons.

But how’s the tech / Web3 scene there? Interested to know if the right type of ambition is attracted there.

That’s the fear. And policy and gov people are definitely a different breed of ambition. 

Not typically builder centric.

Love DC as a city, lived there two years, super pleasant place, however I met very few people in the way of tech or crypto. Lots of smart gov and policy folks, as you’d expect.

I rarely hear about dc in a crypto context, besides lobbying efforts. 

Nyc (and I hear sf, but idk) are really the only 2 places to be if being surrounded by ambitious folks is a top priority
