At what size of org does it stop making sense to do a single, all hands, standup everyday? In favor of subteam coordination.

Ok actually I used to do daily standup with 25 people. Takes 20 min total, short sentence about what you’re doing that day and blockers. Maybe I was just a cog in the machine but I actually loved it. I learned about the granular tasks each person did and understood why it was important to the company. I know people think it’s a waste of time but starting my day like this was awesome lol

Yea I contracted with an org where it was close to 20 people per standup. And it was really short. But there has to be a number where it definitely no longer makes sense lol
