Going on a hair journey in 2025 (already started), any tips to help along the way?

I’ve been looking into minoxidil and finasteride but would love any general advice on growing your hair out, styling it, etc.

My hair has always been something that I’m self-conscious and OCD about, hoping to kick that next year

Assume that if you start you will have to stay on it forever, they basically have a bounce back effect if you come off of it. So be careful. 

That said I don’t know anyone who has succeeded long term from meds as far as I know. The solution inevitably becomes go to Turkey or shave it off.

I’m in the do what you’re comfortable with camp. 

It is a “staving off the inevitable endeavor” so it’s fine to use medications for as long as it works and helps you without side effects. And then you’ll end up in the same place as everyone else. 

Caveat: some medical breakthrough

I assume you’re in the shave it off camp?
