I'm incredibly bullish on the changes coming to channels. Requiring ownership of the channel FT to cast there gives the FTs huge utility (for channels that opt in to the FT membership model). I think this will make the communities around channels MUCH stronger and more aligned (even DAOish?), rather than now where channels are more like hashtags

That happens if channels decide to use it, but also isolates them A LOT, unless is like a group chat i don't think many channels are going to use it! Only the ones where are big guys and you are looking for egangement from them would work, but for me for example, building the /nice channel it would be bad!

There seem to be pros and cons, but I'm positive! YouTube also has paid channels, but if it's a meaningful channel, it's popular! The number of accounts doing BOT and farming will also decrease!

I don’t think it’ll be the answer for everyone, but it does give extra utility to the tokens. Would like to see a ledger level of participation of users with FTs however so it makes it more viable for Channels that want to grow.

to be honestly i dont' know about DAOish but the changes made to channel is kinda limiting users to post there! like if we have post a meme , we must buy it's token or any kinda sort of stuff to post their ~ i don't think this will gonna build more! it will gonna limit the people !

faaaaaam i'm really feeling for the little channels like my /wips especially now in the Moxie era when nobody wants to cast there anymore. Everyone's flocking to the big, broad channels, leaving my niche space quiet as ever. My channel's pretty specific, but artists would rather drop their wip in an /art channel instead. Makes me kinda sad, ngl 😅

i hate to say this, but most posts in the channels aren't relevant or are just simple copy pasta. don't get me wrong, i've been guilty of it too, but i've been working on correcting myself 😅
