We had the same initial vision -- protocol-based version of Twitter.

Bluesky capitalized well on the correct growth axis (political affiliation) and chose a technology stack without baggage (cryptocurrency).

fwiw I still think farcaster has the best chance of making crypto haters understand what the tech is useful for beyond speculation. 2025 seems like the year it could shift.

Brass tacks: why do they care when a good chunk of the accounts they care about are using X / Threads / Bluesky?

Because more people worth following join FC daily, the energy is good, and more interesting things will be built here than on X / Threads / Bluesky.
