Not sure how I feel about using LLMs as therapy tools. How many people use therapy as a tool for confirmation bias and will now have easier access due to LLMs being taught to be reasonably agreeable?

Much more affordable and easy to schedule. It seems like you could misuse a bot or human therapist, right? I think a lot of people are probably already getting help from a chat or that wouldn't have otherwise gone to a therapist. That's probably good.
