The jam team is running a new airdrop today. Farcaster is not involved with this airdrop and has no control over it. 

You should do your own research and decide whether you want to participate. If you don’t like it or you don’t understand it, you shouldn’t participate.

New airdrop meta in Farcaster?

$JAM "Airdrop" is a Scam – here’s why:

The team just redefined the word airdrop to mean "pay us 10x the value of your tokens and pray we don’t rug you." Let’s break down why this is predatory (and possibly illegal):
1. This isn’t an Airdrop – It’s a forced buy-in.
To claim your "free" tokens, you must deposit 10x their value just to unlock them in 7 days (or wait 6 months with a smaller ransom).
2. The team is already dumping (?)
Liquidity isn’t locked. Contract is mintable, contract wallets have been selling tokens before the "claim" even started (check tx history).
They’re literally would like profiting from users buying tokens to "unlock" their own airdrop.
3. No Trust, No Transparency
Devs make rules last minute with zero warning.
Their excuse? "We’re experimenting." Experimenting with exit liquidity from their community.

But Farcaster officially support a project yesterday, the highest level of trust has been formed.

I coordinated with the Jam team on the airdrop yesterday. They did an airdrop of 2M Jam (~$10k) to 885 users. I looked at their AI agent, channel, did a video chat, DMs and felt it was fine to distribute

This new Jam claim airdrop mechanism today is unrelated and I wasn't aware of the lock to claim faster mechanism. I don't agree with it and hope the team includes the constructive feedback on this from many users. If you do not agree with the locking mechanism, you do not have to participate

Ty for your feedback, I understand that it's not a Merkle's responsibility, but when you pay attention for this issue it's metter for community and I hope for a project.
Things like this shouldn't happen under the guise of Farcaster support.
