Senior tourism: suspended One of the problems of tourism is to ensure that there are visitors throughout the year in different cities. When this is not possible due to climate/season issues, a series of incentives/attractions must be created so that tourists travel out of season to that particular place. That is why senior tourism is so important. In my country, there are only social programs that allow retirees to enjoy life and different activities, in different cities/provinces. Not anymore... The suspension of senior tourism programs is a significant loss, as they not only help retirees enjoy enriching experiences but also support local economies in off-peak seasons. Cities like Mar del Plata, with their rich cultural and natural appeal, rely on such initiatives to maintain year-round tourism. Restoring or reimagining these programs could benefit both communities and seniors alike.
