this is obviously an unfinished thought, based on a literal interpreration, and is based on recent changes & experience with bsky, farcaster, x etc i have bias here; i grew in a diplomatic family, was raised in countries around the world. wouldn't be surprised if natural ambassadors emerge from these changes

Oh yeah, nothing bad about it. IMO the network isn’t meant to be judged just observed We might see more experiments along the lines of elevated roles and tools for creators that gives them more of a platform, helps them earn faster, creates more marketplace fluidity

My hypothesis is Farcaster is trending towards becoming a “social finance network” more so than a “decentralized social network” Hypothesis is based solely on my feed, which is _mostly_ coin launches, nft stuff, bounties and general token talk these days. All logically follows from having a wallet attached to your social identity, and money being the biggest crypto use case (so far) I suppose this changes once the majority use case for crypto moves beyond money

Two Bsky features that really helped me bootstrap a great feed in first 2-3 days of using the app - Starter packs - Account lists with a big “follow all” button, really helps bootstrap the interest graph - Shared feeds - Kind of like starter packs, except I don’t have to follow accounts - just see the feed of the posts that I can pin to home (similar to channels in a sense, but readers decide who is in the feed) Both are user generated, are first class citizens in the app, and can be discovered / shared easily
