I think the issues that municipalities have about human waste management is that throughout history, it has always caused major problems....the difference is, that in rural areas, youre probably ok to use composting toilets. 

It would be a problem i  cities where 1000's of people are producing waste, but out in the countryside?  Most likely fine.

I'm talking about management and why the majority of municipalities require septic or sewer systems...That mentality was born out the problems human waste caused in large cities.

I disagree 🤷‍♂️ IMO we could easily be composting human waste into something useful, we choose not to. Most likely, IMO, because people are too soft and the idea freaks em out.
