Have noticed a distinct reduction in Power Badge Anxiety since $DEGEN Season 6 started. arfy's thoughts: - It's good, in that people aren't as stressed about it. - Now that it's no longer tied to Degen allowances, some true colours are showing. What I mean is that many people only sought the PB because they wanted the allowance. - Remember though, that having the PB opens up engagement and visibility of your account, so it's still a highly valuable thing, depending on what your aspirations are on farcaster. IMHO I'd rather have the badge than a high allowance. That's just me though. What are your thoughts, frenpai?

I think having a larger allowance may attract inauthentic followers who just want $$$. The PB seems to attract a lot of bots. l feel as if $degen and everything related to PB's, open rank (or any other Farcster account metric) should be totally separate. ...The amount of Degen one has should not determine anything relating to the FC protocol. Create a fair system that rewards quality of content, consistency and interaction.

Well, that's kinda how it is in some ways: - PB has NOTHING to do with Degen, PB is a Farcaster team controlled thing. - Degen is a separate project external to Farcaster, and has nothing to do with PB, except that is USED to calculate allowances factoring in whether you had PB or not. In fact you see many people with huge DEGEN allowances that don't have the PB, and like me, a PB user with very little allowance. The two worlds have kinda collided though, but it's important to note they are separate projects and not one. PB != Degen allowance, especially not for S6.
