I made it onto a block list on Bluesky. Worse still, I’m not even sure I should try to argue. I don’t really engage in shilling and definitely don’t harass artists but, I went through my posts and even there, I have, unsurprisingly, mentioned crypto and NFTs a fair bit.

Lol I know people hate us but especially with AI do they genuinely not see any of the benefits? Or does the bad just outweigh the good? I'm convinced these people have never actually looked into or tried anything of the above and solely made their opinion based on other people's posts

Yeah in most cases it’s that they have been (rightly) put off by the bad behaviour that flooded their feeds and they don’t have an interest in learning about it. I find it ironic from early adopters of a new tech like Bluesky but I think a lot of them actually don’t even understand or like that for the tech, they just like it because their tribe is there. Some are excited for it to become “billionaire proof” but others would be happy with a centralized twitter clone as long as the dictator was benevolent to their people. In short, I get the instinct but I think it’s part of an overall negative worldview with respect to technology.
