design mock-up tip: use the arms length trick before you post your design. view the image on your phone and hold your arm out completely extended, as far away from you as possible. if you can’t see the most important visual element, zoom or simplify. assume people are scrolling past, not zooming in.

"assume people are scrolling past, not zooming in" is great advice. Especially if you're planning to post on something like Instagram or TikTok. If people find a minor detail by zooming in, great! That means they actually looked at it!
