Seeking recommendations for DECAF black tea, ideally not chemically decaffeinated I have been enjoying Yorkshire decaf but since it doesn’t say how it’s decaffeinated (eg Swiss water) I’m going to have to assume it’s the icky methylene chloride method 😰

I know it’s not what you asked for, but hibiscus 🌺 tea hit the spot for me as a black tea replacement, probably bc of how tangy and astringent it is. You can get whole dried flowers to use, it’s a common drink in Latin America. The intense red color is beautiful as well.

The sour gets to me 🫣 I have that old Asian lady thing where we have low tolerance to sour taste (and demand desserts be “not too sweet”)
