but seriously — I thought I was going to leave Coinbase and was kind of lost. struggled with massive anxiety for a year trying to figure out what to do. 

once I figured out what base was - i felt like I finally had my purpose. like I found the thing I'd been building towards my whole life. 

now every day I get to wake up and build with literally thousands of people all around the world. it is the greatest joy I could ever imagine. I wouldn't trade it for anything. 

I will work on Base for the rest of my life.

Base has a spirit about it, in no small part because that feeling from your nudging is felt throughout onchain. The commitment to acknowledging builders of code or community has created a meta-ethos of "yes and" and camaraderie coursing through every block.
