Just going to say this now: watch out for invalid raindrops. As with tips, not all magic words have money behind them and some "claims of rain" will be scams.

(ie, they typed it out but there's no money in the wallet)

Was thinking maybe it is possible to build an action that checks the connected wallet of the poster

I'm sure someone is already building it. But no native functionality that I saw.

I suspect users will start screen shotting their wallet transfers or something, then THAT will get duped... on and on.

This does make the game more interesting 😅
